WYRA (98.5 FM) is a broadcast radio station licensed to Confluence, Pennsylvania and serving the Confluence/Uniontown/Somerset area. WYRA is owned and operated by Educational Media Foundation and broadcasts a Christian Worship format as part of the Air 1 network.

History

The station was assigned the WKEL call letters by the Federal Communications Commission on July 9, 2007.[1] The station changed its call sign to the current WYRA on March 28, 2012.

The station's community of license was previously listed by the FCC as Meyersdale, Pennsylvania, where the station would serve the Meyersdale, Pennsylvania/Cumberland, Maryland area.[2] A change of plans by WYRA licensee Educational Media Foundation moved the station to Confluence, Pennsylvania.[3]
