December 4[edit]

2016 United States presidential election in Texas[edit]

Hi guys. Can someone please correct a small typo in the "Notes" section of the above page? The caption of that section reads this: "Trump earned 38 pledged electoral votes, but lost two to electors. One elector voted for Ron Paul for president and Mike Pence for vice president, while Bill Greene voted for John Kasich for president and Carly Fiorina for vice president." It was not Bill Greene who voted for John Kasich, but Christopher Suprun; in contrast, Greene voted for Ron Paul. Thank you and kind regards. Andreoto (talk) 22:55, 4 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you've got valid sourcing, you could fix it yourself. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 23:08, 4 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It won't let me edit, if I could I wouldn't have bothered you by asking for your help. The sources? Just go to the general election page under "Faithless electors;" after the mini-article highlighting it, the "window" below that shows all the votes received by each candidate, which also lists the preferences and related names of the faithless electors themselves, also confirms it. Thank you very much. :-) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Andreoto (talkcontribs) 23:35, 4 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you're talking about 2016 United States presidential election, editing it comes with various warnings and restrictions and such. Rather than asking someone here to be your proxy, you should go to that article's talk page and pose your request for changes. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 01:21, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
