This course aims to develop your writing and research abilities. You will complete a research project through this semester. You will decide on a topic to inquire, come up with your research questions, find reliable sources, and then compose a research paper.
This Wikipedia Project will help you develop your research topic, cultivate your ability to critically evaluate and synthesize sources, and acquire digital literacy. You will also get to know the Wikipedia community and its genre features. When you engage in this Wikipedia Project, you will consider the Wiki community and its genre, thus being more aware of your readers and your rhetorical moves.
