Same old Same old

[edit]

I’d try as much as I can to AGF because of policy even though I know exactly what this is, however, as long as you keep creating clean non shady articles you wouldn’t have a problem with me, but the second I see you create articles on companies, non notable musicians, and businessmen we would have us a serious problem as id be reporting you as a banned/blocked editor evading a block which is exactly what this is. Vice-chancellors

[edit]

Hallo, I found Nic Beech while stub-sorting and then looked at Alistair Fitt.

A few points:

  • Please don't use slanted apostrophes: Wikipedia only uses the straight single quote
  • Please check how a university is referred to: not "The Middlesex University".
  • There is an infobox {{Infobox academic}} which is more appropriate for academics than {{Infobox person}}
  • To say "occupation: Lecturing" is something of an understatement for a V-C
  • Remember to give geographical context: not everyone knows where Middlesex University is
  • Please read your article and make sure that it makes sense: I don't think Fitt would have had the title "Pro Vice-Chancellor for International" - perhaps "Pro Vice-Chancellor for International Students" or "Pro Vice-Chancellor for International Relations" or something.

Thanks. PamD 11:31, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

And any infobox goes before the lead sentence - see WP:ORDER. You got this wrong with your first non-user-page edit. There's also not much point in adding an infobox just for the sake of it, when all it contains is in the lead sentence of the article. PamD 11:35, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
