Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2019–20 Bristol City F.C. season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Max Meyer (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Maybe you would like to answer my question now?
 — Berean Hunter (talk) 21:34, 17 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Berean Hunter, for what reasons was I blocked? I do not have other accounts nor I have violated any rule. I am sorry for my late response. (SteveMc25 (talk) 21:37, 17 December 2019 (UTC))[reply]

So who is MichaelS35?
 — Berean Hunter (talk) 21:39, 17 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, that account belong to my brother and he used to edit with it sometimes but not anymore. Do I have to claim it as my own? SteveMc25 (talk) 21:48, 17 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

What do you mean anymore?
 — Berean Hunter (talk) 21:57, 17 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I mean that he is not editing wikipedia anymore because he got a job and don't have the time for it. SteveMc25 (talk) 22:00, 17 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
His account has been active for about two years and edited less than 20 days ago. Does he live with you? How do you know that he is done editing?
 — Berean Hunter (talk) 22:05, 17 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
yes, he lives with me and you can see from his contributions list that they are very few recently and stopped now because of the job. SteveMc25 (talk) 22:10, 17 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
His edits very closely mirror yours. Is there any other accounts that you would like to mention?
 — Berean Hunter (talk) 22:17, 17 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Of course he will mirror me because he learned editing from me and we both like football related articles. About the existence of any other account, I remember my nephew creating 2 accounts using my computer Sportadiv and Valencano01 recently if I remember the names correctly but used one 4 or 5 times when he was on a visit to help me and never used the other one as far as I know. Do I need to claim every account created on my computer? SteveMc25 (talk) 22:29, 17 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yes indeed. See WP:SHARE and if they are going to edit on your computer and in the same subject areas like you then all the more important to distinguish the accounts before you get into trouble. So far:
Are you sure there aren't any others?
 — Berean Hunter (talk) 22:45, 17 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
yes my friend, I am sure because I don't let strangers go near my computer. And don't worry, I just had a huge fight with my brother and he swore that he did nothing wrong but I won't let him or any relative touch my computer no more. If you find any evidence of any other account created on my computer then you can keep me blocked forever. I think I will have a wiki break anyway because the whole matter shattered my family apart. Have a nice day. SteveMc25 (talk) 22:59, 17 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ligue 1 and Belgian league fixtures

Hi my friend, I hope you're doing well. First of all both league fixtures have been released a few days ago. Second do you prefer adding all 38/30 matches immediately or a few matches only as we did with Dijon, Reims, Angers etc. last season? Articles that need updating

[edit]

Hello my friend, I know that you may not have enough time, but I do not see any new updates for the articles of the Segunda Divisiòn, Bundesliga 2, as well as the Süper Lig. The reader will definitely be disappointed at not seeing the team's results up to date. I understand that you are not obligated to update these articles, but unfortunately few are more attentive than you. I guess I wouldn't have created that many articles if I didn't see interest on the part of the public. Can you please, when you have a good time, take a look at these articles? Also, I will be the first to help. We can say that you can add the results and I can add the fixures to save time. Best regards--Sakiv (talk) 18:34, 2 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

P.S.: I am still new on this website. Cloudofclouds (talk)

Thank you for your advice. I do not think I am ready to continue editing football on Wikipedia. The reason is because you publish your edits 30 seconds to 1 minute before I do (you probably even do it when the game is still going on). Due to this paradox on how to edit football matches in Wikipedia, I will stop editing as it is of no use to me but it seems for you. This is my last message on Wikipedia. Goodbye and have a nice day. I know I'm not in an easy stance after all these reverts. His compromise is not very satisfactory as adding the rest of the matches without dates seems strange. However, I can agree on adding the rest of the schedule but only if it is hidden. Regarding Real Madrid, the mate who often edits there is accustomed to adding the full match schedule, so it will not be easy to change that now.--Sakiv (talk) 21:16, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Courtesy notification that I reverted one of your edits on 2020–21 Coupe de France. As far as I could tell, the edit consisted of solely of reordering ties into chronological order. Cards

[edit]

Hey, can you please start adding cards especially South American and European teams when possible to the results articles as has been done with England and Croatia to avoid converting templates to tables in future?--Sakiv (talk) 06:23, 15 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Sakiv: They can just remove the cards and convert, it's clearly irrelevant to add cards as it's only ever been done to a final match ON the final page. Mwiqdoh (talk) 12:39, 15 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Mwiqdoh: Do you mean to convert football box templates into tables? How it is irrelevant when it's talking about crucial events that occurred in the match? Take the Marseille-PSG league match in September as an example.--Sakiv (talk) 12:46, 15 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Sakiv: Because it's too specific. We only have that in very specific articles (such as 2018 FIFA World Cup Final or any other specific articles). It has never been included in football boxes, it doesn't even belong there as you are putting it in the goals section. The reason you choose to do that is not to have them convert it to tables? (I know I was asked not to interrupt, but I'm just replying to your reply to my comment). Mwiqdoh (talk) 17:18, 15 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I think it's best to discuss it and don't just let it go. I didn't do anything for you to lose interest in updating the Dutch and Belgian league articles. We see you regularly update Ajax and Antwerp articles but you don't update other articles. This goes back to August, when you edited the season opener and suddenly stopped. We are all here to contribute and cooperate. I know you may not have time to add results to all those teams (18 Belgian + 18 Dutch), but you and I can work together. As you can see in the encyclopedia, there is obviously a lack of people who regularly and quickly update the results of the competition. If there is any misunderstanding, I have explained it to you, and I hope it will not happen between us in the future. Waiting for your response.--Sakiv (talk) 11:12, 20 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, I too was in a hurry at that moment. Nevertheless, I do appreciate your dedicated work on Wikipedia because you add a special touch to it.. Good luck in whatever step you take. Greetings.--Sakiv (talk) 17:52, 20 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2021–22 K.V. Oostende season, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Daniel Muñoz and Junya Ito.
