I guess there's been some debate as to what the second would ultimately count as but, in any case, the first one comprised of moderate Democratic-Republicans who were willing to form cross-party coalitions with the Federalists would certainly fall under the category of "Centrism in the United States" within the context of their time. undo Tag: Manual revert

Firstly were the moderate Democratic-Republicans who were willing to form cross-party coalitions with the Federalists whom the category "Centrism in the United States" seems applicable to within the context of their time, and then there was the Old Republican "radicals" as they've been called who certainly fall into the "Conservatism in the United States" category. undo
