Revision as of 00:28, 13 June 2010

Group D of the 2010 FIFA World Cup will take place on 13–23 June 2010.[1] The group consists of Germany, Australia, Serbia and Ghana. Along with Group G, it is considered to be a Group of Death.[2]

Germany, then competing as West Germany, were in the same group with Australia in 1974, when they beat them 3–0 and subsequently advanced to the second round.

The winners of this group will advance to face the runners-up in Group C. The runners-up of this group will face the winners of Group C.
