Yankees' pitching sucks rocks but I think it will settle down especially with the ejection of Hughes and return of Pettite and a healthy Pineda. Or t any rate they can't get worse. Classic Jekyl and Hyde guy. Just too inconsistent, even by the lowly Twins standards this year. Has a no-hitter while nursing a 9.0+ ERA? Unthinkable. We Scandinavians in the fan base cannot handle that level of uncertainty, and team ownership knew it. :-) Hard to see him go to a division rival though - he always played well in PaleHose territory (that's who he no-hit this year). All and all, Keeperland is a good (and busy) place to be. Are you still doing some editing? I'm not dead! Keeper lives. :-) I never thought it would happen, but I have fairweathered the Twinks a bit this year. I've missed several games (I loyally watched every game for years). Life's too busy to keep torturing myself. Glad to see Liriano go. Glad to see some promising young players (Diamond, Deduno, Carson, Florimon...). Need to clean coaching house, I'm afraid. Done with Rick Anderson - worst ERA in the leagues for 2 years? G'bye. Done with Pavano, done with Blackburn. Fresh start on the mound, do whatever you can to hold onto Willingham (who has been a welcome surprise), and Morneau. The Viqueens are a welcome surprise, but they'll fall flat. Giants are looking like every other year they win the whole thing - perplexingly bad at times, and then the 4th quarter happens...drives me batty. Speaking of Giants - talk about the dullest world series I've ever witnessed. I was yawning - literally yawning, during game 4. What a waste of an AL team detroit turned out to be. We're OK, thanks. I got power back Nov 1 and mom got it back the 2nd o 3rd so we had heat back before the snow. Feel badly for those without power, heat, or homes. About 40K displaced and it's just heartbreaking. StarM 18:12, 10 November 2012 (UTC)
