- Portal talk:Taiwan There is a dispute about whether the portal should be named Taiwan or Republic of China, though more editor consensus would be appreciated and any links to policy stating which name should be used would be helpful. 16:42, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
- Talk:Democracy (disambiguation)#Weeding the links has a current debate over articles to link to for disambiguation purposes. Even aside from any content-type issues, there is what seems to be a fairly straightforward disambiguation style problem in a top-level page like "Democracy" deep linking to a number of individual articles on the political history of a specific country (i.e. Second Party System). One editor disagrees, and more views on this are requested. - 22:43, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

- The question is whether names of standards and protocols, or terms defined by one or more standards and protocols, should be capitalized throughout, as Border Gateway Protocol and Universal Serial Bus, or whether they should be written in lower case, excepting the proper name parts, as Chomsky normal form, extended Backus–Naur form, interior gateway protocol, random access memory, etc. Current discussion is taking place at Wikipedia_talk:Naming_conventions_(capitalization)#Capitalizing_standardized_names_for_protocols,_etc. and Wikipedia_talk:Naming_conventions_(capitalization)#A_Few_Bits_Of_Data_(AFBOD). 13:54, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

- Redirect Sidhoji Rao Shitole to Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath and protect (from future vandalism). These are two biographies on the same person. According the WP:Manual of Style for biographies, the article should go to the name by which the subject is most commonly known (Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath according to 2580 Ghits). The given-name article (20 Ghits) was up for AfD, but Stifle (talk · contribs) closed it stating "The naming dispute can, and should, be taken to WP:RFC. (Not WP:RFAR, who don't handle content disputes.)" [1]. --Hamsacharya dan 03:22, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
