Mel Maryns (born 11 April 2003)[1] in Rio de Janeiro[2], Brazilian Portuguese[3], is a singer, songwriter, pianist and producer.[4] Mel Maryns started singing when she was a a little kid with her dad playing the guitar. Nowadays, Mel is spending her time writing and producing her own original songs.[5]
Biography
Mel Maryns’ real name is Melissa Marins de Queiroz Ferreira[1], but since she was little everyone used to call her “Mel” as nickname all the time.
So, she decided to change a little bit her second name by adding a “y” to “Marins” and it turned out “Mel Maryns.[1]
Mel Maryns is a singer, songwriter, pianist, producer and lives in Cork, Ireland.[6] She has been singing since she was a little kid[7], her dad used to play guitar and there was always music in the house, they always used to sing together and she always had this really good feeling when she used to sing as if that was her destiny.
She started her singer and songwriter career in 2017[7], when she released her first original single called "Fala Serio".[8] Her biggest musical influencers are Guns and Roses, Skid Row, Evanescence, Billie Eilish, Shawn Mendes and Ariana Grande.[6]
When she moved to Ireland in 2018, she started Busking[9] and performing in St Patrick's Street, Cork and Grafton street, Dublin.[10]
