Sucidava is a Daco-Roman historical site, situated in Corabia on the north bank of the Danube. There can be found the first Christian basilisc in Romania, the foot of a Roman bridge over the Danube built by Constantine the Great to link Sucidava with Oescus, and a secret fountain which flows under the walls of the town to capture a water spring.
