Nova 91.9 (call sign: 5ADL) is a commercial radio station operating in Adelaide, Australia, owned by the DMG Radio Network.

Along with its sister stations Nova 100 Melbourne, Nova 96.9 Sydney, Nova 106.9 Brisbane and Nova 93.7 Perth, Nova now claims to be Australia's leading under 40's brand.[1]


Permanent Programming

Breakfast – Fitzy, Jules and Lisa

The breakfast show of Nova 91.9, is the flagship program of the station aimed at capturing an audience for the rest of the day. The show runs from 6:00am to 9:00am weekday mornings.

A podcast of the breakfast show is uploaded daily onto the Nova website and onto iTunes around 12:00pm weekdays. The podcast lasts for about 15 minutes, showcasing the best bits of interviews and segments of the day.[2]

Weekdays from 9:00am - 12:00pm.

Lunch – Hans' Lunch Box with Fitzy, Jules and Lisa

Weekdays from 12:00pm - 1:00pm.

Afternoons - Mel Greig

Weekdays from 1:00pm - 3:00pm.

Drive – Akmal, Cal & Ed

Weekdays from 3:00pm - 6:00pm. Akmal Saleh, Cal Wilson and Ed Kavalee, hosted by Jarrod Walsh – The drive shift is hosted by comedians Akmal Saleh, Cal Wilson and Ed Kavalee.. All three of them have had numerous appearances on the improvisation television program Thank God You're Here[3].

Merrick & Rosso & Kate Ritchie

Weekdays from 6:00pm - 7:00pm.

Nights – Nova 19s with Mike and Steph

Weekdays from 7:00pm - 10:00pm. – This show counts down the Top 19 songs in a particular region of Adelaide twice per weeknight. For example, a countdown may be down for both the Southside and Northside of Adelaide. Listeners vote for songs on the countdown through the stations website or studio hotlines.
