WILI-FM ("i-98.3") is a Top 40 Mainstream music radio station based in Willimantic, Connecticut. The city of license is Willimantic, Connecticut. The Hall Communications station broadcasts at 98.3 MHz with an effective radiated power of 6 kW. Their motto is "All of today's best music." Their studios are on Main Street in Willimantic, near the famed Frog Bridge.
Ownership
In May 2005, Florida-based Hall Communications reached an agreement to acquire WILI and WILI-FM from Nutmeg Broadcasting Co. At the time of the purchase, Hall already owned WICH and WCTY in Norwich and WNLC and WKNL in New London. In addition, Hall owns a number of stations in medium-sized markets along the eastern seaboard from Vermont to Florida.[1]
