Requests for IP check

  • Vandal and attack accounts may be listed here for the purpose of identifying and blocking the underlying IP address or open proxy. Requests to confirm sockpuppets of known users should be listed in the sockpuppet section above.
  • If you already know the IP address of the suspected open proxy, list it at Wikipedia:Open Proxies instead.
  • Use === Subsections ===; do not create subpages.
  • List user names using the {{checkuser|username}} template. Add new reports to the top of the section.
  • Requests may be acted on or declined according to the discretion of the checkuser admins. Responses will be noted here. Specific evidence of abuse in the form of diffs may be required so as to avoid the impression of fishing for evidence.
  • Answered requests will be moved to Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/IP check/Archive for 7 days, after which they will be deleted. No separate archive (other than the page history) will be maintained.

Brfc97

Two new Brfc97 socks; vandalised Blackburn Rovers F.C., East Lancashire derby and User:Bill. —Snigbrook 18:53, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hai2upeeps

An extremely presistant vandal has been continually adding information of a fictional and defamatory nature to John Paul College (Brisbane) (see diff). It began with User:Hai2upeeps two weeks ago and the user has now used six additional sock accounts and an IP adding the exact same text: see Category:Suspected Wikipedia sockpuppets of Hai2upeeps. The user has definitely used the IP address 121.208.115.53 once and I am wondering if this is the IP address behind all of the accounts. --Jh12 (talk) 13:16, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Eremia

Persistent long-term vandal; see User:Barneca/watch/bvr for evidence. All accounts are blocked, and she's distinctive enough that I don't need a normal checkuser or an SSP, but I'm getting mighty tired of blocking the new socks as they appear. Have my fingers crossed a narrowly target long term rangeblock would remove this person without collateral damage. I know, I know, it's probably going to come back that she's on the most widely used ISP in France (I think), and I should just stop whining and RBI, but it's worth a try I suppose. --barneca (talk) 19:00, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

ToadGed

All three are usernames designed to attack Ged UK (talk · contribs). Somehow the person creating these accounts is evading the autoblock--if it's possible to nuke the underlying IP, it would be much appreciated. Blueboy96 22:02, 23 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Another account, GedGland (talk · contribs) has vandalised an article previously vandalised by BonerGed (talk · contribs). It looks like the same vandal as the IPs in User:Ged UK/Vandalwatch. —Snigbrook 16:52, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Confirmed all 4 are the same user, as well as BufoMarinusHughes (talk · contribs). Dynamic range too big to block RlevseTalk 02:44, 1 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AlexLevyOne

See Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/AlexLevyOne(3rd). This is a serial sockpuppeteer, all of the above-named accounts of whom have been indef blocked except for WALL STREET. Seeking whether there is a stable underlying IP, so that creation of additional accounts might be blocked, at least for a while. (It would be nice if someone would actually block WALL STREET as well.) Deor (talk) 23:34, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

User:WALL STREET now blocked. We can probably expect another account to be created by this user within a couple of days. JohnInDC (talk) 10:32, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Confirmed all same user but too dynamic to block IP. RlevseTalk 14:37, 1 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Artemis (not the Fowl kind)

SUL'd an imp account. Trying to get the SUL removed; got it renamed first. -Jéské Couriano (v^_^v) 23:02, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
