I was wondering why the article on Nix was deleted, I lurk mostly but this is a real package manager program that I have read about [http://www.linux.com/feature/155922 here]. Perhaps whomever wrote the article badly, I'm willing to create a decent stub however.

Hey Gonzo fan2007, I added a license to my submitted Packers image File:GBretirednumbersbanners.JPG. I think it can now be moved over to Wikimedia Commons. If I added the wrong license let me know and I'll change it. [[User:Yunggunn2k3|Yunggunn2k3]] ([[User talk:Yunggunn2k3|talk]])

Hey

Hi Gonzo fan, I haven't seen you in a while. Nice to see you! Dabomb87 (talk) 00:35, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Are you going to reassume your position of FLRC director? Sephiroth has done a good job while you were out, while Dweller is still recovering from surgery. Dabomb87 (talk) 00:50, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Timeline of the Adriatic campaign, 1807–1814 FLC

Thankyou for participating in the FLC for Timeline of the Adriatic campaign, 1807–1814. The article has now passed and your assistance in the process was much appreciated. Regards--Jackyd101 (talk) 00:10, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your welcome! « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 01:58, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As the admin who protected this page, can you move it to Characters in the Mario series (it's a less ambiguous wording and the article isn't list format)? Thanks. Haipa Doragon (talkcontributions) 01:19, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I unprotected the article so that you can gain consensus and make the move yourself. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 02:14, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Hey

Hey! Glad to see you are back! Hope your wikibreak when well. :) As far as the bot is concerned, I would be happy to resume our project. Here is a quick debreif on the changes:

  • The only change I made to the code from the last time I ran it was some change to further generalize the code, which is yet untested, but I am hoping to test it on the next run.
  • As you can see from User:AlyBot/PlayerList, some of the pages have been created by other people.
  • Also, 10 pages from the last run are in the bot's namespace as per Special:Contributions/AlyBot.
  • Also, on one of the pages created, this edit by User:Wizardman was made [1] (I have all the pages that the bot created watchlisted)
  • The two pages that the bot wasn't able to create was because their entries don't exist on DatabaseFootball (if I remember correctly from 2 months back)

Other than that, I think we are good to go. Aly89 (talk) 02:49, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ahh. Got it. I will change the template as soon as I get the chance. Also, FYI [2]. Aly89 (talk) 04:33, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Haha. Yes, I am aware of that scenario/feeling. No problems with regards to the time. We need not to finish this a rush. Take your time. And Happy New Year! Aly89 (talk) 23:58, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hey! Here you go, something for you to work on. The pages were created with large interval in between to account for the code changes I was committing, and general bugfixes. I did realize something today, that 2TM, and 3TM actually meant 2 teams and 3 teams at databasefootball.com :), so I had to sat down and iron out the code for that. There are 2 extremely minor bug lefts, but it shouldn't hamper us too much. Although, I will try to get them fixed ASAP. Overall, I fixed many bugs, including a stupidity in the template of adding </br>, which means nothing as far as HTML is concerned :). So, I went back and fixed the pages where this way still lying around. All in all, I think I have generally improved the code. The bot is now also able to detect if there are more than 1 colleges, and splits it up correctly (if it can detect it properly). The categories are now alphabetically ordered (most of the time), and I should be committing the code to properly adding the word "and" to the last item in the list of teams which is present in the text itself. And in order to account for these changes, I had to manually modify some of the pages created by the bot (since I am too lazy to go back to my code, and turn off some of the checks I am doing to prevent duplicate page creation). Again, there is no rush to complete this, so take your time in completing all of this. Also, FYI, the page for Charlie Leigh has been created. And, also, in User:AlyBot/PlayerList, item number 613 is University of Auburn, which I presume is a typo. Apart from that, I think that is all. Have fun! Aly89 (talk) 07:19, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Here you go [3]. I see you were quick in picking up the fact that I was running the bot :). Also, > 20 pages in one day :|. I have to ask, are you running a bot too? :D
Other than that, a few changes were made, as you might have noticed. I have a prebuilt list of states now, that I can replace in, to eventually bypass the redirects. Also I have a prebuilt list of player positions, which it recognizes. However, a few of them, it wasn't able to recognize. I will post the list it wasn't able to decipher later as I am going to bed now, so that you can give me a heads up on them, and I can feed them into my bot to reduce the amount of work you do! Don't burn yourself out! :) Aly89 (talk) 05:00, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
PS: Also, don't worry about the failed pages right now. I will soon be committing a change into the bot that should be better at recognizing Alias of the players to pick up from other databases. However, I need to get started on that change which I cannot do before the weekend! Aly89 (talk) 05:03, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hey. Just wanted to let you know about this - removing the pages from the given categories, "rm from polluted categories" (I don't quite understand what he means by polluted categories). While I understand that the pages are immediately listed in the categories page, they would be eventually moved the mainspace soon. Do you want me to comment the "categories" part in the template I am running to stop it from listing in the given categories, which could be then later uncommented when you are moving them to the mainspace. Aly89 (talk) 18:37, 10 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
PS: I have reverted all the edits and brought the comments as categories, that should keep all of us happy for the timebeing. Aly89 (talk) 18:45, 10 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, hello, and thank you!

With vandalism mounting, unproven rumors circulating about a movie that was announced 2 years ago and no news of it since, all we editors of Ed, Edd n Eddy really needed from you was to unprotect it! Yes, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!! As an administrator, you are supposed to be helping us, not hindering us. -- Elaich talk 05:32, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
