Windsor University School of Medicine is a Medical University located on the island of St.Kitts. It is a four-year medical school, which grants the degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD). Instruction is divided into ten trimesters: the first four semesters are Basic Sciences and held on the island on St.Kitts. The 5th semester of Basic Sciences is held in Carbondale, IL along with a USMLE review program. The remaining five semesters are clinical, and training is held in hospitals throughout the United States.[3][4][5]

Curriculum
Windsor University School of Medicine runs a vigorous medical program at St. Kitts. Windsor University School of Medicine MD curriculum is developed and based on the American Medical Schools curriculum model. The Board of directors and the educational committee of the both undergraduate and postgraduate programs at Windsor are American Physicians trained in United States. Windsor is committed to run a world-class standard of programs to produce efficient physicians. The university's curriculum provides students with a four year MD degree. [7]

Windsor University is fully licensed and chartered. The Windsor University School of Medicine is listed in the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER) International Medical Education Directory (IMED)[8], ECFMG Approved [9] Medical University located in St. Kitts & Nevis. The university is also listed with the World Health Organization (WHO). [10] Windsor University School of medicine was started in conjunction with the government of St. Kitts & Nevis.
