Srikanth (actor, born 1968)

Meka Srikanth (Telugu: మేకా శ్రీకాంత్) (born March 23, 1968) is a tollywood villain, hero who's family is from Gangavathy, Karnataka. Srikanth was born in Vijayawada. He did his B.Com and also got a diploma from film institute. Srikanth is married to Ooha (Telugu actress) and has three kids Roshan, Medha and Rohan. He played minor roles as villain and support artist in early part of his career before playing as hero. His first hit film as a hero was TAJ MAHAL which was produced by famous producer dr.d.ramanaidu. After that S.V Krishna Reddy and srikanth gave good hits like Vinodam, E gire Pavurama,ahvaanam etc. His hit movies were Khadgam, Sankar Dada M.B.B.S, Pellam Orelithe, Yemandoi Srivaru, Kshemanga Velli Labhanga Randi, Oo Chinadana,mahatma.

Srikanth started his career with small roles in telugu industry after completing his course in acting, acted as a villain in hit movies like sitaratnam gari abbai and varasudu opposite Nagarjuna. His early break came with Tajmahal. He became a superstar with the biggest hit of the year PELLI SANDADI, directed by K Raghavendra Rao. Sri Kanth is the only star after the Mega Star Chiranjevi ( the Great South Indian Superstar ) got success in telugu industry with his own hardwark and without any support.

Sri Kanth also achived 100 movies in his great career in the year 2009 with the movie Mahatma, Directed by Krishna Vamsi.

Sri Kanth was initially appreaciated by almost all the top directors like E V V Satyanarayana, S V Krishna Reddy, Raghavendar Rao K etc for his dedication and decipline. Srikanth considered to be the best charected hero in telugu movie industry.
