Playstation categories.

Regarding User:Koavf removing Category:PlayStation 3 games from games already in Category:PlayStation 3-only games, can you and User:Masem liase and let me know a list of articles or a way to build a list of articles so that I can sort the mess out. Is it as simple as adding Category:PlayStation 3 games to all articles in Category:PlayStation 3-only games which do not currently have it? Cross posted to User talk:Masem. Red Dead Redemption release date

Hey, man. IGN has relisted the release date for Europe as "Q2 2010". What should we do ? Should we assume that it means the April 27 date is worldwide ?--Marc-Olivier Pagé (talk) 05:25, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If they're no longer giving a specific EU date, we should remove it. I don't think, in the actual article, they specified whether April 27 was US only or not. If they didn't, we should just remove the country alltogether and just have the date. Chimpanzee - User | Talk | Contribs 08:43, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. Thanks !--Marc-Olivier Pagé (talk) 15:14, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

LBP: Midget or Man?

Sorry to bother you, why did you revert my edit on LBP? I did say you could message me on my talk page if you wanted to revert so we could discuss, so it is basically ignorance not to message me. Again, I HAVE THE GAME. I know he is a midget, because he is the smallest character in the game. I also know someone who works at MM who told me The Collector was a midget. I shall put my edit back again, but if you want, we can work things out this talk page. Anyway, I expect to keep in touch.

A Common Man (talk) 10:30, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you can cite a reliable source stating that the collector is a midget, then by all means, re-add it. But just stating "I own the game so I know" is original research and is against Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. Also, even if original research was allowed, how do you know he is a midget as opposed to a very short man or a dwarf from LBP's stylised characature. Regards, Chimpanzee - User | Talk | Contribs 15:35, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I shall keep it that way as the only reliable source is NOT a webpage, but a real life conversation so technically, I have no reliable source. Thanks for keeping me on the path.

GT5 Ref

Hiya. Good catch! Apparently if you stick a / on the end of a eurogamer url, it redirects to the homepage. I've fixed it now, thanks! =) Fin© 18:21, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not vandalizing that page! I was just adding some links.--76.174.71.100 (talk) 16:18, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In appropriate links, after being asked many times not to. Hence the link to WP:VG/EL. Also, as I have also said before, the 2.5D games category is valid as you can see from 2.5D which defines it as "3D games in which gameplay is restricted to a two-dimensional plane" - just like LBP. Chimpanzee - User | Talk | Contribs 16:23, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
How does it violate "WP:VG/EL"? If you want me to stop this, shouldn't I be told of a provision there that supposedly prohibits what I'm doing? Also, have you played LBP? I think it's a game with 3D graphics and 3D gameplay; the gameplay isn't 2D if you ask me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.174.71.100 (talk) 16:30, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Firstly, I don't know how you can consider LBP to have 3D gameplay? Seems absurd to me. With regard to the links, you added Official Media Molecule blog and LittleBigPlanet at Media Molecule.com which link to the same website that the existing Developer's website link points at. This is against WP:EL which states "avoid separate links to multiple pages in the same website". The YouTube channel hasn't been updated for some time and most of the videos featured there are already linked-to via the existing sites. I re-added the LittleBigWorkshop and Sony links as these could be considered appropriate. Chimpanzee - User | Talk | Contribs 17:02, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
