::So someone insulted you a year ago. What does that have to do with this? What you said was unacceptable, pure and simple. You'd get a lot farther with a "hey I was angry and I won't do it again" or something like that. And not anyone can use the phrase "are you on drugs?"--it's not polite conversation. "HAHAHAHAHAHA, what ever you're taking, up the dosage, okay?" is NOT OK. It's childish and inappropriate, simple as that, and I am asking you--politely!--to not use that kind of language again. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 19:17, 7 June 2011 (UTC)

::::I'm already aware that the comment was issued over a year ago, but that wasn't my point, nor was I even insulted by it. My point was I'm not finding this near as bad as you say, it's not even my words but what I found in an edited magazine years ago. But if it's what you want. -- GunMetal Angel 21:06, 7 June 2011 (UTC)

Regarding "The Death Of Greeley Estates"

I just copied the genres from previous albums, I just did that cause I hate trying to figure out genres, I dont even know the genres anymore, and it's not their 3rd album, if you follow their discography they have at least 3-4 other Full albums with one EP. As for the image it's all I had and I would appriciate it if you upload another picture if the current one gets deleted or something. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ecruz10111 (talkcontribs) 02:23, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ice Nine Kills

Thanks for your involvement in writing about Ice Nine Kills, their page here is long overdue. I have been a huge fan for a long time. The reason I keep changing certain thing is because they are inaccurate. For instance:

-the band was formed by both Jeremy Schwartz and Spencer Charnas. It keeps ONLY crediting Charnas with founding the band. -the song "the simple act of giving up," was not souly written by Jeremy Schwartz but also by Spencer Charnas. So I keep trying to fix that. - I keep trying to point out that the movie "Dishdogz" they were involved with was a "Lionsgate" movie. As you know, the inclusion of Ice Nine on wikipedia is up for debate, so the more high profile attachments we can put in there the better. Lionsgate is a very well known, huge movie studio.

I'm also trying to phrase things more professionally, the article is written well, but there are a few issues here and there. Please trust me on the facts, I am an expert when it comes to this band:) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.61.36.67 (talk) 19:09, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is Jinxx from Black Veil Brides

Please quit changing my name to my birth name on here. I don't go by that, I haven't gone by that for years, even my mom calls me "Jinxx." If you were any fan of the band, you should know this. I would appreciate if you would respect me and my wishes. Thanks. Also, Andy never played keyboards or bass for the band. Don't know where you're getting some of this info. Jinxxed4life (talk) 22:35, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, if you're actually Jinxx, I just gotta say man, loved the set at Extreme Thing (my dad took pictures of that show) and furthermore, we don't go by aliases rather than actual names. Although in this case if that's what you want I don't exactly see how to address this situation. I mean are you saying you don't want your real name on the article? -- GunMetal Angel 22:39, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, this is really Jinxx. I'm in my hotel room in Copenhagen right now, and last time I looked in the mirror, I was still me lol. Real names are the names we go by, and in my case, my name is Jinxx. My girlfriend calls me that, my band mates call me that, even my mom calls me that. I haven't gone by "Jeremy" for many years. I won't even respond to it. I detest my last name, as it's my father's name and me and the old man aren't exactly friends. But enough of my personal life, I would just really appreciate it if you kept my name "Jinxx." It gets really annoying when I do an interview with Guitar World or something and then they look at your wiki and print my old name in the article and then fans start calling me that. If you check my twitter I'm constantly correcting people about that. Thanks again, and glad you enjoyed our set at Extreme Thing. Take care. Jinxxed4life (talk) 23:13, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see an issue with it. I mean look at the article for Avenged Sevenfold, you don't see Brian "Synyster Gates" Haner Jr., or Zachary "Zacky Vengeance" Baker, I could be wrong, but I don't think I've ever seen anyone try to change it to that either. - Jer757 23:50, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Personal attack

Gunmetal Angel, I'm not going to template you, but I am going to tell you that this edit summary is completely unacceptable. After 20,000 edits, and after being insulted yourself a couple of times, you should know better than this, no matter how silly you think the edit you reverted is. OK? Thanks. Drmies (talk) 15:36, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It's not a personal attack. It's just describing how ridiculous something is wherein I've seen even admins do similar things. I didn't talk on this person's sexual preference, call him anything, write "fuck you" or anything of that standard. If anyone can use the phrase "are you on drugs?" and not have it come up in a vulgar way, then that is really no different from that type of phrase. The personal attack form of that sentence would be more like calling him retarded or saying he has some other type mentally unstable person, yet I'm not the one to do that hence to be honest, I'm not such a fan of the R-word and would find an edit summary such as this a lot more offensive then simply saying "whatever you're on, up the dosage" which was even printed in a video game magazine in-response to a fan letter for goodness sake. It is not a personal attack!-- GunMetal Angel 18:31, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
