Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi (星空へ架かる橋, trans. Bridge to a Starry Sky) is a Japanese adult bishōjo game published by Feng. Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi was adapted into an anime television series by Dogakobo under the direction of Takenori Mihara and Go Zappa supervising the scriptwriting. The anime series began its broadcast run on April 11, 2011.[2]

Plot

Kazuma and his little brother Ayumu move to Yamabiko, a small town in the country. Upon heading to Yamabiko, Kazuma meets Ui Nakatsugawa while chasing after a monkey for Ayumu's hat. While attempting to jump a from a stone in a pond to the other side, Kazuma accidentally slips and kisses Ui.... To make matters worse, Ibuki, Ui's close friend, sees it.... Later Kazuma comes to discover they attend to the same school, what will happen to his new school life...?

Kazuma Hoshino (星野 一馬, Hoshino Kazuma)

The main protagonist who moved to the country along with his brother because his brother is ill and needs the fresh open air. He meets Ui when she was picking plants on the mountain when they cross the river he accidentaly slips and fell on Ui, kissing her. and Hinata appears almost right away. He recollects the memory of his childhood friend often.
Ui Nakatsugawa (中津川 初, Nakatsugawa Ui)
Voiced by Maki Hibino (game) / Eriko Nakamura (anime)
Kazuma first met Ui in the series as he was retrieving his brother's hat from a monkey who had taken it. After recovering the hat, he gets lost and meets Ui, who offers to show him the way back to the bus stop. As he tries to skip across a creek on the way, he slips and lands on top of her, knocking her down and accidentally kissing her in the process. She's a very slow person who is quick to get her lunch ready; she enjoys eating to the extent of eating Ramen instead of practicing for an upcoming race. She seems to be embarrassed whenever her kiss with Kazuma is mentioned, or whenever someone makes a comment related to it. Her older brother also seems to be an important figure in her life.
Ibuki Hinata (日向 伊吹, Hinata Ibuki)
Voiced by Ringo Aoba (game, anime)
A second-year student, class rep and Kazuma's classmate. At the very beginning of the series she doesn't like being near Kazuma, and doesn't like him being near Ui (his seat is between the two). This is due to the fact that in their first meeting, she saw Kazuma kissing Ui, and thought he had forced her into it, as she had missed him slipping earlier.
Tsumugi Tōdō (藤堂 つむぎ, Tōdō Tsumugi)
Voiced by Ran Suzuki (game) / Chiaki Takahashi (anime)
A third-year Yamabiko South Academy student, she is Kazuma's senpai and also works in Yorozuyo. She is Koyori and Kasane's older sister. Her first meeting with Kazuma was in the bathroom of Yorozuyo – she was cleaning the bath when he walked in.
Koyori Tōdō (藤堂 こより, Tōdō Koyori)
Voiced by Ichigo Momoi (game) / Aiko Ōkubo (anime)
A girl Kazuma first meets when he was visiting the shrine. She seems rather cold towards Kazuma and thinks of him badly because of the rumors going around. She is shown as a nice person at heart and Kazuma is the only one she is cold to.
Hina Sakai (酒井 陽菜, Sakai Hina)
Voiced by Misono Moriya (game) / Mayumi Yoshida (anime)
Kazuma's Senpai, she is a third-year student like Tsugumi. Kazuma meets her after crashing into her in an attempt to catch a sandwich thrown by Daigo. Since she was a child, she was the tallest in her class. Kazuma embarasses her by referring to an accessory on her phone as cute – she thought he was saying it to her, something no one else had ever said.
Madoka Kōmoto (神本 円佳, Kōmoto Madoka)
Voiced by Asuka Isuzu (game) / Ai Shimizu (anime)
She is the miko of Kotama Shrine (木霊神社, Kotama-jinja). She remembers Kazuma from the past when they were friends, but Kazuma does not remember her, making her somewhat sad.

He is Kazuma's little brother. He has a weak body and therefore had to move to the countryside where there was a better environment.

She is the landlady of the Yorozuyo (is where Kazuma and Ayumu are living). She dislike be called "Oba-san" but "Nee-san".
Kasane Tōdō (藤堂 かさね, Tōdō Kasane)
Voiced by Mitsu Anzu (game) / Mai Kadowaki (anime)
She is Tsumugi's little sister and Ayumu's classmate. Kasane is called "Fast-ears" because she knows about everything in the town. She has a long and blue hair.
Daigo Minamikokubaru (南国原 大吾, Minamikokubaru Daigo)
Voiced by Kaze Haruno (game) / Wataru Hatano (anime)
Kazuma's first male friend. He is Minamikokubaru-sensei's son.

Anime

An anime series began broadcasting from April 11, 2011 on AT-X and subsequently on Chiba TV, Tokyo MX and other channels. The anime opening theme is "Hoshikaze no Horoscope" (星風のホロスコープ) by Nomico[1], and the ending theme is "Dash do Cinderella" (だっしゅどシンデレラ) by Eriko Nakamura and Ai Shimizu[1].
