Hello Gogo Dodo (by the way I love your username), I just wanted to leave you a note that I unblocked Needtruehelp. They requested a username change and have sworn that they read our guidelines and policies for promotion and COI and won't promote their site any more. Before unblocking them, I checked their contributions and saw a couple of positive contributions which in no way referenced or promoted their own site, with their only negative contribution being the clearly promotional user page they had created (though the user page content did justify your original block in my opinion). Thank you. -- Atama 19:57, 5 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

The Admin's Barnstar
Thanks bunch for mopping up that impersonator for me. Btw, did you checked against that IP of his which I've provided? This is not the first time someone from Hong Kong is impersonating me, I've absolutely no idea who that might be so should I start an SPI? Thoughts? Dave ♠♣♥♦™№1185©♪♫® 07:53, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the barnstar! It is an honor to receive one from you. As for the impersonator, you do seem to have annoyed somebody. I don't know of your other imposter accounts (perhaps Dave1186?) as this is the first one I have seen of yours. You can file an SPI with a CheckUser to block the underlying IP for longer than the autoblock and see if there are any sleeper accounts. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 08:02, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Actually, I do have an idea who it is after going through the IP's contribution history. Indeed, someone from HK (LS C HIST (talk · contribs)) who was reported & BLOCKED for DE, TE & operating a large sockfarm of 29 accts (including 1 goodhand and 1 badhand acct) last year. Although the IPs don't match, his interest in a specific subject using that last IP gave him away. Oh well, I guess this impersonation comes with the job of being a "notable" wikipedian. Forget it, not worth my time and effort to go after him. I forgive him. --Dave ♠♣♥♦™№1185©♪♫® 08:13, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
If you have people vandalizing your user page or attempting to harass you, you must be doing something right. =) -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 08:16, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Quell Keith

Quell Keith is listed on the wikipedia page for E1 Music recording artists, and this is my first page, it's not perfect, but it's not bad, i'm planting a seed, I want others to expand on it, and I'm using my iPad, otherwise it would have an image, please, give this page a chance, if he is signed to a major record label such as E1 Music it deserves to stay. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.4.81.48 (talk) 16:09, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you wish to recreate the article, I recommend that you create a draft article in your user space when you are logged in. The article as deleted did not establish why he is notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia. None of the previously deleted versions established his notability either. Being signed to a label does not establish his notability, though it does mark an important step. In order for him to be notable, he must have released albums with the label. See the notability guideline for additional details. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 21:59, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Gogo Dodo please do not keep deleting the list of current merchant cash advance funding companies. In this industries there are only a handful of reputable companies (most listed here). Then thousands or resellers who claim to be actual funding companies and many times are less than truthful with merchants. Merchant Cash Advance Companies Not Spam And Notable

The list of reputable Merchant Cash Advance companies is not spam. It lists the history, size and specialties of each funding company. The description is a valuable resource for those either looking to find a merchant cash advance funding company for their business or a reseller agent to find new funding companies to represent. In this industry many companies service certain niches, such as 1st Merchant Funding does not require credit checks and will finance almost any business. Global Merchant Funding services all of Hong Kong and China & Amerimerchant offers the product in Canada. American Finance Solutions offers a fixed weekly payment that no one else offers. Being a 10-year industry veteran and member of the North American Merchant Advance Association (www.northamericanmaa.org) I guarantee that all the companies listed are actually funding companies and have taken great pains to provide and unbiased snapshot of each. I will add in the North American Merhcant Advance Association to the page as well. Your last edit has been undone. Segriest (talk) 01:20, 11 July 2011 (UTC)Segriest[reply]

Article Deletion: Kreayshawn

I believe you should revert your deletion of the article on Kreayshawn for the following reasons.

  • The single Gucci Gucci was released by Columbia
  • The artist has signed an album deal with Columbia
  • The artist has been written about on MTV, and has been mentioned in Pitchfork.

Frankly, I hate Kreayshawn and think it is funny, 'ironic' if you will, for an artist like her, who talks so big, to have her article deleted, but... eh, she probably doesn't fit a7 criteria anymore.
