Milli, Geo and Bot are playing in the park with their friend Anna and her adorable dog Buster. But when a game of fetch goes awry, Buster accidentally jumps into the back of a truck that carries him far, far away. to a construction site! Team Umizoomi tells Anna not to worry: they'll rescue Buster and bring him back to the park. The team calls UmiCar to give them a ride. But to get to the construction site, the team will have to interpret a series of road signs telling them how to get there! First, the team reaches a sign warning them of falling rocks, mud puddles and stinky skunks. Milli has to teach UmiCar a movement pattern to get them safely past the hazards. Next, when a stop sign tells them not to cross a broken bridge, Geo uses his super shape power to replace the missing section. From there, the team follows directional signs all the way to the construction site where they find Buster perched on top of a building framework. To get Buster down, the team must read the signs and help Buster jump over various construction site obstacles. With Buster safely on the ground, the team brings the puppy back to the park where he and Anna are touchingly reunited!

Team Umizoomi can't wait to see The Cuckoo Bears - a mechanical band of musical bears who live inside the Umi City Cuckoo Clock. After watching the Bears rock out to their famous song, "You're Telling Time," Milli, Geo, and Bot travel inside the clock to meet the group! Backstage, the Cuckoo Bears demonstrate how special gears on their tummies give them the power to play their music. But when a strong gust of wind blows through the clock, the gears pop off and roll out into the streets of Umi City. Yoinks-a-doinks! Without those gears, the Cuckoo Bears can't play their music! Now it's up to Milli, Geo and Bot to find the three gears and fix the Cuckoo Bears before the clock strikes 12.

Terror strikes Umi City when broken objects causes havoc. It turns out that the shapes were stolen by the notorious shape bandit. And adding insult to injury, the shape bandit snatched Geo's shape belt! Without the shape belt, Geo can't fix broken things! It's up to Team Umizoomi to stop the shape bandit and get back Geo's shape belt and save Umi City, and teach the Shape Bandit a lesson that stealing shapes is not nice!
