David Concha Salas (born 20 November 1996) is a Spanish footballer who plays for Racing de Santander as a winger or forward.
Club career
Born in Santander, Cantabria, Concha joined Racing de Santander's youth setup in 2006, aged 10, after a brief period with lowly CD Marina Sport.[1] He called up to train with the main squad in December 2013, being also selected for the Copa del Rey match against Sevilla FC.[2]
Concha made his first-team debut on 6 December, replacing Javi Barrio in the 0–1 home loss.[3] He made his league debut four days later, again from the bench in a 1–0 home win against UD Logroñés.[4]
On 8 January 2014 Concha scored his first goal, netting the last of a 1–1 home draw against UD Almería, also in the national cup.[5] He finished the season with 13 league appearances, with the Verdiblancos returning to Segunda División at first attempt.
On 24 August 2014 Concha played his first match as a professional, starting in a 0–1 away loss against Girona FC.[6]
International career
On 16 May 2014 Concha was called up to Spain under-19.[7]
