Greg Peterson (born 26 March 1991 in Sydney, Australia) is a rugby union footballer. His regular playing position is lock. He was named in the Waratahs squad ahead of the 2012 Super Rugby season [1] and is currently waiting to make his franchise debut.

Peterson represented Australia under 20 in the 2011 IRB Junior World Championship.[2]

In 2014, he was appointed as captain of the North Harbour Rays for the teams' opening game in the inaugural season of Australia's National Rugby Championship.[3]

Though being born in Australia, thus being eligible to play for the Wallabies, Peterson is eligible to play for the United States by virtue of his American Grandfather.[4] On 23 October 2014, Greg was named in the Eagles 35-man roster for their 2014 End-of-year tests against New Zealand, Romania, Tonga and Fiji.[5]
