Jesse James Wood (born 30 October 1976, Malibu) [1] is a London-based guitarist/bass player who plays with the bands RedRacer[2] and Reef.[3] In addition to his role as musician, Jesse is a professional model, signed to agencies in London[4], Paris[5], New York[6] and Los Angeles[7], and is well-known for his earlier campaign with Calvin Klein. Jesse's modelling work is more recently linked to Yohji Yamamoto[8] and Liam Gallagher's Pretty Green label[9]. In December 2014, Jesse was featured in British GQ's My Style Page, where he managed to convey his casual, yet very rock 'n' roll, style.[10]

To date, Jesse carefully balances the demands of his music career with his opportunities in modelling, which becomes increasingly difficult when his band RedRacer released their debut album 'Define'[11] (Dissention Records) and Reef is about to embark on a UK Tour (www.reefband.com).[12]

Wood is the son of Rolling Stone, Ronnie Wood[13] and Krissy Findlay, who died of an accidental overdose in June 2005. He attended Ibstock Place School in Roehampton, south-west London.

Wood has previously played with Glyda, The Leah Wood Band, The Ronnie Wood Band, Wills And The Willing, HOGG, and The Black Swan Effect. He joined the band Carbon/Silicon in June 2010,[14].

On May 7, 2014, Jesse officially joined longtime friends, John Hogg and Sean Genockey, as bassist in the band RedRacer, an offering of South London Desert Rock.[15] Around the same time, he also aligned with fellow rockers in Reef when they were auditioning for a replacement of their guitarist, Kenwyn House and subsequently also joined Reef in April 2014.[16]

Wood has been married twice. He has two children, Arthur and Lola, from his first marriage, to Catherine 'Tilly' Boone, whom he married in 2003.

Jesse began dating TV presenter Fearne Cotton in 2011.[17] On 21 February 2013, Cotton gave birth to a son, Rex Rayne Wood.[18] The couple were engaged in December that year and married on 4 July 2014.[19]
