While the term ''Cantonese'' refers narrowly to the [[prestige dialect]] of [[Yue Chinese|Yue]], it is often used in a broader sense for the entire Yue branch of [[Chinese language | Chinese]], including related dialects such as [[Taishanese]].

The Cantonese language is also viewed as part of the cultural identity for the native speakers across large swathes of southern China, Hong Kong and Macau. Rajasthani language (Devanagari: राजस्थानी), is a language spoken by Rajasthani people. It is spoken by 50 million people in Rajasthan and neighbouring states of India and Pakistan .Most of the Rajasthani dialects are chiefly spoken in the state of Rajasthan but are also spoken in Gujarat, Haryana and Punjab.
