Calendar Girls is a 2015 Indian drama film directed by Madhur Bhandarkar and co-produced by Sangeeta Ahir and Bhandarkar Entertainment.[2] The film's music was composed by Meet Bros Anjjan and Amaal Mallik.[3] The film released on 25 September 2015.[4] According to director Madhur Bhandarkar, the story of Calendar Girls is 75% reality and 25% fiction.[5][6]

The film focuses on five girls who hail from different regions of India, and who have been selected to pose for the country's most prestigious annual calendar which is a joint effort between business tycoon Rishabh Kukreja and his photographer friend Timmy Sen.[7] Suhel Seth and Rohit Roy have also played significant role in Calendar Girls.[8] Five new actressess are making their debut in Hindi film industry with Calendar Girls.[9][10]

The teaser of Calendar Girls was released on 1 July 2015.[11] The film's trailer was released on 17 August 2015. Calendar Girls was banned from release in Pakistan.[12]
