Initially starting out as actors, the duo switched to composing and singing after the success of their first song "Jogi Singh Barnala Singh". They began with composing for Isi Life Mein and Do Dooni Chaar but it was with Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum and OMG – Oh My God! that they got their first recognition as music directors.[3]

Meet Bros' most well-known and critically acclaimed songs are "Baby Doll" from Ragini MMS 2 and "Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan" from Roy. Both songs feature the vocals of Kanika Kapoor and the latter was part of a soundtrack that fetched them multiple awards including the Filmfare Award for Best Music Director, the Screen Award for Best Music Director, and the IIFA Award for Best Music Director.[4][5][6]

Early life[edit]

Meet Brothers are real brothers. Their family is Punjabi and they lived in Gwalior. Their father's name is Gulzar Singh and mother's name is Nimmi Gulzar. Their mother wanted that both of them go to Mumbai and earn their name but their father wanted them to take care of business after completing their education. That is why they enrolled the two sons - Harmeet and Manmeet in a boarding school. Their early education took place in The Scindia School, fort, Gwalior. After this they went to Mumbai for higher education. They started acting in Bollywood to step in, but after the success of their solo song "Jogi Singh Barnala Singh", they chose music, leaving the acting. And after that they worked as a music director in many films and gave hit music. Both brothers completed their graduation from Sydenham College, Mumbai. Both have not received formal education in music. Both have worked in the TV serial Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Shagun.

Personal life[edit]

The younger brother Harmeet was married to Shefali Jariwal, but after a few years both of them got divorced and Harmeet married Sunaina Singh in 2010. They have a son - Aman.

After leaving acting, Meet Brothers worked as a music director in Bollywood. Many years ago, they met Anjan Bhattacharya in a program and the three decided to work together and they named their trio as Meet Bros Anjjan. The three together made music for many songs and gave their voices. But they got big success when they made the song "Baby Doll", which they sang with Kanika Kapoor in the 2014 hit film Ragini MMS 2. This song was filmed on Sunny Leone and it was highly praised. Then they gave hit music several times. In 2015, Anjjan Bhattacharya got separated from the trio and started his own music business. Meet Bros also opened their own recording studio named "Meet Bros Recording Studio".

Their songs "Pink Lips", "Hangover", "Party To Banti Hai", "Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan" were also quite hits and they got fame in the music industry. They both also hold many concerts and take part in the concert. They have received many honors and awards for their music, including Filmfare Awards.
