Early life and background
Dasun was born on 25 October 1996 to Karunarathne Wickramasinghe and Rohini Jayalath. His Father, Karunarathne Wickramasinghe is a retired policeman. Music life
Dasun was a popular contestant during the contest, and had lots of attraction from young generations. He took part in Shihan Mihiranga's group in the contest and was a lead role in Shihan's team. The songs sang by Dasun gets much popularity and mst of them were rock style songs. His first song is the "Swapna" teledrama theme song, sang with Sirasa Superstar season 3 winner Shanika Madumali. Dasun usually used rock style within the contest, and he has a distinguish hair style with straight gelled hair cut. Also he use to wear T-shirts with letter "D" of Old English font in it, recognizing his idol.
