The HNLMS Friesland (P842) is an Holland-class offshore patrol vessels operated by the Royal Netherlands Navy.[1]
The vessel was built in the Polish shipyards, in Gydnia, of the Dutch firm Damen Group.[2]
In November 2015 the Friesland, and elements of the United States Coast Guard, cooperated in the seizure of $17 million dollars of cocaine.[1][3] The operation was part of Operation Caribean Venture, under the overall command of the Royal Netherlands Navy.
