Remember – War of the Son (Korean리멤버 – 아들의 전쟁; RRRimembeo – Adeur-ui jeonjaeng) is a 2015-2016 South Korean television series starring Yoo Seung-ho, Park Sung-woong, Park Min-young, Jung Hye-sung and Namgung Min.[1][2][3] It airs on SBS on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:55 for 20 episodes, beginning 9 December 2015.[4]

Synopsis

Seo Jin-woo has the condition of Hyperthymesia which allows him to remember almost every day in perfect detail. His father has been wrongfully convicted of murder. To prove the innocence of his father, Jin-woo becomes a lawyer. He struggles to prove his father’s innocence, who begins to lose his memory due to Alzheimer’s.

Main characters

Using his superior memory, he was able to become the youngest lawyer in South Korea after dropping out of high school to prove the innocence of his father before he gets executed.

A lawyer with a hundred percent success rate but is infamous for fighting the case for the rich and powerful regardless his clients being innocent or guilty.

Apart from Park Dong-ho she is the only one to believe Seo Jin-woo's father innocence. Now a prosecutor she believes in the ways of honesty and truth.

Lee In-ah's classmate and colleague. She is the sister of Nam Gyoo-man and is quickly attracted towards Seo Jin-woo for his amazing skills.

The twisted and rich antagonist, Nam Gyoo-man, is responsible for the crime for which Seo Jin-Woo's father is wrongly accused of. He is ruthless in his ways but is seen to fear his father's wrath terribly.

Supporting characters

He is wrongly accused for the crimes of Nam Gyoo-man and is sentenced for death penalty. He is suffering from alzheimer and is unable to prove himself innocent.

  • Lee Si-eon as Ahn Soo-bum (Gyoo-man's right-hand man)

He is the obedient secretary and the punching bag of Nam Gyoo-man.

The top rival of Park Dong-ho and In-ah's boss who after siding with the Nam family and wrongly convicting Seo Jae-hyuk for the crime becomes more powerful in his office.

A gangster who is like a father figure for Park Dong-Ho's but is subdued to the orders of Nam family.

Ratings

The broadcast of episodes 7 and 8 scheduled on 30 and 31 December 2015 respectively was postponed due to SBS Entertainment Awards and SBS Drama Awards which held annually.

The blue color indicates lowest rating while red color indicates highest rating.
