Jacob Sartorius is an American Internet personality and singer.

He was born in Herndon, Virginia in 2002.[1]

He became known by posting lipsynching videos on Musical.ly. He is also a popular user on Vine. He was part of a group called MAGCON in which he toured with other popular Vine users. He took part in many events, such as VidCon, MAGCON,and Playlist Live.[2]

In 2016, his single "Sweatshirt" charted on the Billboard Hot 100.[3][4]

He was involved in a controversy in which a fan posted screenshots on Twitter which showed that he allegedly pressured her to him nudes via Facebook. A representative for Satorious responded by claiming that it was done by an impostor, saying that "The alleged messaging from Jacob's Facebook account took place on January 29, 2016. Jacob, in fact, did not have any Facebook account until March 18, 2016, when he visited Facebook HQ in San Francisco and they set up his first Facebook account."[5][6]
