Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring

You have deleted my message on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Edit_warring screenshot. I use this link because it's suggested on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requests_for_administrator_attention screenshot. So why should I go to WP:ANI ? What MarnetteD did is completely edit war.

How to prevent wikipedia to write down my IP to database? As you have written on my talk page, I can consult with you. I know, wikipedia collects base of all users' (logged in or not) IPs. I don't want wikipedia to know my IP (even in hidden base). But almost all proxy IPs are blocked. So what should I do, to enter to wikipedia?

And is this collecting legal? Where is the guarantee that you will not sell the database?

As I know blocking is personal, so person is blocked, not username or IP. If I am not blocked, why should I suffer? And this is not answer. I don't remember where, but I saw text that to hide my IP I can register. But it's not true, my IP will get into database in any case, using GeoIP you can find my geographical position. @Username160611000000: Still, I do not believe that MarnetteD was edit warring. Please check out the edit warring page. You said that your proxy IPs are blocked. That means that you were the intended target of those blocks, as it ranged over your proxies. Therefore, you shouldn't user another proxy or VPN to edit. Read the blocking policy. Finally, if you are logged in (you currently are) then your IP is not visible. Dat Guy^Talk_Contribs 10:54, 16 July 2016 (UTC)

As I say below, you have no allowed way of editing here without your IP address being recorded - whether you want to try a prohibited method is up to you, but I don't think you are likely to get any help with that here. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:26, 16 July 2016 (UTC)

• If you edit as an IP, your IP address is visible for all to see. If you edit from a logged-in account, your IP is not visible but is still recorded and is retained for a short period (I believe it is 90 days). During that time, only people with CheckUser or similar rights can see it - admins can not. If this is not acceptable to you, your only option is to not edit here. Recent changes

• Due to the rollback, new sorting of Notifications on the Fly-Out Menus has been deployed with a delay. [1]

Problems

• On July 12 all wikis were rolled back to MediaWiki 1.28.0-wmf.8 due to a problem in the log-in system. [4][5]

Changes this week

• The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 19 July. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 20 July. It will be on all wikis from 21 July (calendar).

• The RevisionSlider can be tested on the beta cluster. From 22 July, it will be available as a beta feature at: German Wikipedia, Arabic Wikipedia, Hebrew Wikipedia
