Nenu Local (English: I am local) is an Indian Telugu action-romantic film directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina and produced by Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations, story, screenplay and dialogues are written by Prasanna Kumar Bejawada. It features Nani and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles. Music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.[1] The trailer of the film was launched on 14 January 2017.
The film was released on 3 February 2017 with mostly positive reviews.

Production
Prasanna Kumar Bejawada scripted the story and it was narrated to Nani. Nani, impressed by the script, went to look for a director and a suitable producer. Trinadha Rao Nakkina was finalised to direct the story and the film was produced by Dil Raju under his production banner Sri Venkateshwara Creations. Keerthy Suresh was signed in for the female lead and Naveen Chandra was roped in to play a supporting role. Additional cast include Sachin Khedekar, Rao Ramesh and Posani Krishna Murali. Filming started in August 2016 and was completed by mid December. Devi Sri Prasad was signed in to score the soundtrack.
The film was initially set to release on 25th December 2016, but was postponed due to demonetisation. Finally, the film was decided to be released in early February. On January 14th in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, the film's theatrical trailer was launched along with the soundtrack. Both Nani and Keerthy Suresh promoted the film in Facebook headquarters in Hyderabad.
Release
The film was finally released on 3rd February, 2017, to mostly mixed reviews. It was released in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh & Tamil Nadu. It was also released in the United States. it is the nani big 1st day collection inspite of mixed reviews because of nani stardom. 1st day worldwide collection was around 36.6 crores.

Devi Sri Prasad scored the soundtrack, which was released on 14 January 2017. www.123telugu.com quoted saying that "The music of Nenu Local is one of the best works of DSP in the recent times. The youthful exuberance that he brings on to his album is infectious as all the songs are full of energy and fun".
