MyWay Airlines is a Georgian carrier based at Tbilisi International Airport in Tbilisi, Georgia.
History
In May 2016, China's Hualing Group announced plans to establish an international airline based out of Georgia. During a meeting with Georgian prime minister, Giorgi Kvirikashvili, the Chinese firm's president, Mi Hua, stated the group was planning to open up flights to Europe and Asia from its base at Tbilisi with North America a longterm goal.[1]
On 26 February 2018, the airline received its air operator's certificate (AOC) with plans to begin operations in May 2018.[2]
Destinations
During the first phase of the airline’s route network development, flights will be launched to Middle East and CIS destinations, while in the second phase the airline intends to open new routes to destinations in Western and Eastern Europe. During the third phase flights will be launched to China and USA thus establishing an extensive route network from and to Georgia. New flight destinations will be developed depending on passenger demand.[3]
