Roman Yevhenovych Matys (Ukrainian: Рома́н Євге́нович Ма́тис; born July 28, 1978) is a Ukrainian activist,[1] business consultant,[2] and entrepreneur. He has been the Head of the Investment Department of the Lviv Regional State Administration since 2016.[3]

During the 2014 Ukrainian revolution, Matys helped organize the departure of Lviv residents to Maidan Nezalezhnosti in Kyiv. He was a speaker and coordinator of Euromaidan.
In 2015, Matys joined the Petro Poroshenko Bloc "Solidarity" party. In October 2015, he ran for the Lviv Oblast Council in district 1. Currently, he heads the Sambir district organization of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc.
