Vihaking277, others at WT:BIRD were encouraging the merger of the other subspecies into the species article. (And just because one subspecies is notable doesn't mean others are.) In any event, I don't have any personal opinion on this -- just talk to others at the bird project or on the species talk page and reach a consensus about what the best approach is. I do note, however, that there are no reliable secondary sources among the references, so I expect your draft will be declined. @LLC28146: I'm glad that you were encouraged! I do, however, think that the article has quite a ways to go. Every sentence in the article should contain the facts that are in one of the listed sources, ideally with a footnote to that source. It appears more like you have drafted based on what is in your head regarding kitchen islands than based on what the sources say (?). Calliopejen1 (talk) 23:02, 20 August 2020 (UTC)

I have to admit that I missed the footnotes completely, I feel like the real problem is not me sticking to the facts even though I noticed a mix-up or two. The issue is that all sourced are talking about 300 years of kitchen history and not about kitchen Island what was the original reason for me to undergo my research. @LLC28146: I think I've already mentioned these to you, but be sure to review WP:OR and specifically the subsection WP:SYN. Any article you write must be solely based on what your identified sources say specifically about kitchen islands. Wikipedia can only be a place to summarize existing knowledge from secondary sources, not a place to put new research about the history of kitchen islands.
