Andrew Laking
Andrew Laking (born 1974) is a New Zealand author, folk singer and songwriter. Between 2001 and 2011 he played with Gráda. Shortly after Gráda disbanded, Laking released a solo album (Here by the Fire) and embarked on a 26 date tour of Germany.[1]
In 2015, Laking wrote a book and album of songs about his home city, Wellington, which was published by Victoria University Press. The album features some of New Zealand's best known artists, including Bret McKenzie, Riki Gooch (ex Trinity Roots), and Toby Laing (Fat Freddy's Drop).[2]
