Devin Kihlers is a pornographic film actor, director and artist. He is American born but is often mistaken for being European. He has appeared in straight, gay, bisexual and transexual pornography. He is the creator and lead director of the Art Porn, costume fetish website Midnightinferno.com.[3]

In 1997 at the age of 21, Kihlers moved to Hollywood, California. Within a week, he found an agent and was booked on his first pornographic film shoot for Vivid Entertainment.[4] Another one of Kihler's earliest performances was co-starring in a scene with porn icon Jeff Stryker. Kihlers was also featured in two scenes in the first of Chi Chi Larue’s popular Link series.[5]

Kihlers originally entered porn under the name Christopher Zale but later changed his name to Kody Fields.[6] He spent 3 years as an adult performer then left the industry to work as a concert promoter in Northern California.[7] He reentered the porn industry in 2007, using the name Devin.[8] He later added the last name Kihlers as a tribute to the now defunct KillersLand.com, a website which featured BDSM and femdom illustrations by the late Georges Pichard.[9]

In 2007 Kihlers met adult actress turned reality tv star, Jennifer Ketcham aka Penny Flame while doing a shoot for Meninpain.com. During their scene, Flame beat him so severely she drew blood.[10] The two went on to co-star in some of Flame’s final releases for Vivid Ed including the last film she directed, Penny Flames Expert Guide to Rough Sex.[11][12] Kihlers called Flame’s very public departure from pornography in 2009 a sobering, eye opening experiece which forced him to examine his own involvement in the industry. The following year he started his own website, Midnightinferno.com. [13]The site concentrates on what Kihlers calls, sensual serealism. He proudly pronounces the site as female friendly porn for women and men.[14]

In 2009 Kihlers walked out of a shoot for Treasure Island Media when he learned their actors were engaging in unsafe sex without being adequately tested for stds.[15] His last gay film was released by Raging Stallion Studios in 2011.[16]

Kihlers claims he is gender blind and does not adhere to labels when it comes to his sexuality. He does however respond to the terms omnisexual or pansexual.[17]
