Why did you change my edit to the Whose Line Is It Anyway page? I did not like the fact that you changed it. On the ABC broadcast of the show, it wasn't just one musician. Question

Dumb question, is it okay to have what I have on my user page?? Might want it deleted. (JoeCool950 (talk) 06:15, 1 January 2015 (UTC))[reply]

@JoeCool950: Like I've said before, it is fine, as long as it isn't vandalism. Anything you put there is fine. If you want to know more, you can read this page. It tells you what you may have on your user page. Now if you don't mind, please decide and quit asking me. It is getting annoying, as well as the "Might want it deleted". You know just as much as I do about these things, so there really isn't much I can do. Thanks and have a Happy New Year! Corkythehornetfan (Talk) 06:42, 1 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Also, it looks like you've asked another editor here, and they've told you the same thing. Two different people, same answer. Corkythehornetfan (Talk) 21:43, 1 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Fanchon Stinger WXIN Fox59

Hi Corky,

I recently noticed your comments about my request to add "Fanchon Stinger" as a notable on-air talent for Fox59. She is the main female anchor, and currently her station Fox59.com is updating their bios so that might be why you couldn't find a source site. Here are two links to give you more information to know she is notable on air talent. http://www.fanchonstinger.com/about-us/ http://fox59.com/?s=Fanchon+Stinger

Thanks, Kevin — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.15.45.126 (talk) 17:52, 1 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

She isn't notable per WP:LISTPEOPLE. Until she meets those guidelines, she isn't notable. Although she may be notable in the local area/state of WXIN, she isn't notable throughout the United States. Therefore, she shall not be included in the article and until she meets WP:LISTPEOPLE. Also, her own website is a primary source and means nothing to me, as well her biography on the station's website. There would have to be third-party sources if she were to be included. WP:WikiProject Television Stations has decided that if a person does not have a Wikipedia article, they are not notable. Have a Happy New Year! Question about the map you created on the MIAA page?

I was wondering about the map you created on the MIAA page. How did you create it? I am also thinking about creating some maps as well. However, I personally have a preference for the one utilized on the GAC page? Thanks. -UCO2009bluejay (talk) 21:40, 2 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@UCO2009bluejay: I created it using various blank maps on Commons and then went to a website that allowed me to put the states together (I Googled the locations to try and get them in the correct area). I have also reached out to others to see if they would be willing to make a map, but never heard back. The GAC map is a good one. Corkythehornetfan (Talk) 00:07, 3 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the info. UCO2009bluejay (talk) 00:33, 3 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
It looks like User:Msjraz64 created the map for the GAC. Might not be a bad idea to ask them if they could make one for the MIAA... or you or I make a map like that (If we can figure it out!). Corkythehornetfan (Talk) 00:50, 3 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I would be okay if I was given a fish, or taught. So I will get to it shortly.UCO2009bluejay (talk) 00:53, 3 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

M3 (Canadian TV channel)

Matt Wells is no longer a personality for M3. Gaby Henderson is the host of the channel yet you keep undoing the edit. [1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.66.109.67 (talk)

Okay, I've removed the current, along with Matt from that section. I also renamed it to "Notable former personalities" because Gaby Henderson is not notable per WP:LISTPEOPLE. As long as you don't add her, we'll be fine. Corkythehornetfan (Talk) 12:54, 6 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your input is requested . . . .

Corky, I'd like to get your opinion on this revised infobox template: [2]. After determining what data points to include, we'll recruit a template editor to handle the coding for us. Once we determine what fields we're adding and what we're deleting, then we'll work on the modified graphics. Thanks. Dirtlawyer1 (talk) 02:01, 7 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

WRAL-TV

I did that test edit on the WRAL site because one of their employees complained to me about people editing it. Was just testing to see who was watching the site. Are you a WRAL employee? Gracie28 (talk) 17:13, 9 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No I am not. I live in Kansas and have no connection to WRAL-TV. Heck, I had never even heard of the station until I started editing Wikipedia. But now I am questioning as to whether or not you work there? Why else would they be complaining to you? Corkythehornetfan (Talk) 18:09, 9 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Drexel Basketball

In the case of the Drexel basketball page, there is no reason to not have the box scores listed as a source along with the final scores of games. There are many major basketball programs that have the box scores included on their team schedule, especially a number of those whose schedules includes the stat leaders in points, rebounds, and assists for each game. While a number of team's schedules do not include the box scores, from what I have seen more pages are adding these box scores over the past few seasons. It does no harm to the page and simply adds a source of information for otherwise unsourced material. By the way, I was responding to your edits via the talk page for the team. I didn't mean to ignore you in any way. In retrospect, I should have contacted you via your talk page and discussed more. If you feel it is necessary I do not have any problem with opening a discussion on WP:WikiProject College basketball. Hopefully it will draw a more universal conclusion as to which format to standardize since it is apparently inconsistent among many team pages. Thanks! --Zach Pepsin (talk) 04:05, 12 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Zachlp: Just because a team lists a boxscore on their schedule page, doesn't mean Wikipedia needs to. The template has fields like highest rebounder, highest scorer, etc., which is good enough... they don't need to be linked. I would much rather see the urls be used as references rather than external links. I think it would look much better. In regards to you responding to me by using the talk page for the team, I don't see where you edited on the talk page. All you were doing was talking while reverting, which just causes an edit war and nothing gets accomplished. I'll ask other trusted users who belong to WP:WikiProject College basketball and have them respond on the talk page of the team's article. I think others need involved in this. The Daily Buzz

Hi Corky,

I am writing you from The Daily Buzz and have a few questions about the edits you made on 11/22. Pardon my ignorance as I have almost no experience editing Wiki. What's the best way to get in contact with you? If you can, please call our main phone number located on our mojo brands media website and let them know you are calling about Wiki (they'll know how to find me).

Also, since you seem to have a handle on this - how can i find out about this edit "22:07, 21 December 2014‎ 50.137.204.38 (talk)‎"? I'm trying to find out who is sabotaging our page...thanks! Ng35k (talk) 20:31, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Ng35k: Hello. I will not call you, nor will I communicate with you outside of Wikipedia. This is for privacy reasons. The edit made by me on November 22 is pretty simple: WP:LISTPEOPLE. The names were removed because they are not notable per WP:LISTPEOPLE. They did not have a Wikipedia article, nor did they have a reliable source to back them up. As for the edit made on 21 December by the IP, I cannot explain as that was somebody different. If you work for The Daily Buzz, make sure you don't violate conflict of interest when editing and if you are here because you work for the Show, then make sure you do not take ownership of the article. RE: Orphaned non-free image File:Colorado Buffaloes alternate logo.png

What's up Corkythehornet fan!

Thank you for holding me accountable on my Colorado Buffaloes alternate logo image. I fully understand the rule of an orphaned non-free image, however this image does not fall under this category. The following pages show where this image is used: 2014–15 Colorado Buffaloes men's basketball team, 2013–14 Colorado Buffaloes men's basketball team, 2012–13 Colorado Buffaloes men's basketball team, 2011–12 Colorado Buffaloes men's basketball team, 2010–11 Colorado Buffaloes men's basketball team, 2014–15 Colorado Buffaloes men's basketball team, Colorado Buffaloes, 2010 Colorado Buffaloes football team, 2011 Colorado Buffaloes football team, 2012 Colorado Buffaloes football team, 2013 Colorado Buffaloes football team, 2014 Colorado Buffaloes football team.

Unless you know something that I don't, it is to my knowledge that this is not an orphaned non-free image. Please let me know if you have any more concerns, I am more than happy to talk about it. Thanks! --NJ Jurrjens (talk) 03:22, 17 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@NJ Jurrjens: I think you misunderstood. I didn't tag the File:Colorado Buffaloes alternate logo.gif, but I did tag the File:Colorado Buffaloes alternate logo.png file. The GIF version looks better than the PNG version, so I swapped it out and that left the PNG version unused. Therefore, it is orphaned. Corkythehornetfan (Talk) 19:48, 17 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Corkythehornetfan: You are 100% correct, and I once again thank you for holding me accountable. I am fine with the PNG version of that photo being orphaned, since the GIF version looks better. I will let that image run its course, and it will be deleted eventually. Thank you for everything and being so patient! --NJ Jurrjens (talk) 05:49, 18 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

ABC News 24

Had you considered how rude your repeated deletion of of good faith edits WP:GOODFAITH appears.

The edit is not a case of wp:vandalism:

"a deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of Wikipedia"

&

"Even if misguided, willfully against consensus, or disruptive, any good-faith effort to improve the encyclopedia is not vandalism. Edit warring over content is not vandalism. Careful consideration may be required to differentiate between edits that are beneficial, detrimental but well-intentioned, and vandalizing. Mislabelling good-faith edits as vandalism can be considered harmful."

Vandalism would call for reversion.

Wikpedia policy also says

"In some cases, editors may object if you remove material without giving them time to provide references; consider adding a citation needed tag as an interim step."

That is the normal first response to an un-cited claim, flag it [citation needed], the fact that I did cite it that way, plus my comments indicated I am working on it should have stopped you deleting it, see Wikipedia:Revert_only_when_necessary.

"Revert vandalism upon sight but revert an edit made in good faith only after careful consideration. It is usually preferable to make an edit that retains at least some elements of a prior edit than to revert the prior edit. Furthermore, your bias should be toward keeping the entire edit. "

Just because I have a different editing style does not give you the right to remove content. That is also Wikipedia policy.

Wikipedia:Editing_policy

"Perfection is not required: Wikipedia is a work in progress. Collaborative editing means that incomplete or poorly written first drafts can evolve over time into excellent articles."

However I may choose the first rule, WP:Ignore All Rules. ˥ Ǝ Ʉ H Ɔ I Ɯ (talk) 23:48, 17 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Mimarx: I don't think it is rude. If you noticed, I "reverted good faith edits by you" here. I also understand what it says. In most cases, an edit that is added to an article unsourced is usually reverted right away. Why don't you put it in your sandbox, and keep it there until you find sources... reliable sources for that matter. By the way, I never said your edit was "an act of vandalism". I said it was unsourced. Why don't you get your facts right before stating something like that. Corkythehornetfan (Talk) 00:00, 18 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Map question

I just saw your question on my commons talk page, I pretty much don't go on that side except for image viewing. GACLocations came from the NCAA D2 Basketball Map. I cropped it and used paint to erase locations not in the GAC, very carefully along state lines, then modified the dot size and names for the locations. You won't have to worry about it but I also combined and slightly adjusted the dots for Henderson State and Ouachia Baptist since they are separated only by a 2-lane state highway in Arkadelphia. I had to use the basketball map because Oklahoma Baptist is not on the NCAA D2 Football Map. Although my GAC map does not show OKBU, I have an update ready to upload on July 1 when they officially join the conference. For your work on the MIAA, the football map would be easier to use. The GAC map was fairly easy to make, hope this helps. Msjraz64 (talk) 03:35, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Alrighty, thanks! Corkythehornetfan (Talk) 17:08, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Question?

Any connection between Users Michiganwolverines2015's, and CanadaMichigan2015's edits? I know you were falsely accused of being a sock at one point. But I wonder 1. if these might be and 2. how could this possibly be proven. MW2015 in my opinion should be blocked for his persistent and blantantly rude vandalism.UCO2009bluejay (talk) 06:36, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@UCO2009bluejay: I agree with you... s/he should be blocked. I think the accounts are the same as they are making the same edits, and also Michiganwolverinies2014 (not 100% sure on this one, though). I am going to contact another user with more knowledge about doing a sock puppet investigation on the users later today. CheckUser should be able to tell whether or nor the accounts are the same person. Corkythehornetfan (Talk) 16:16, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
