Elemeno P are a New Zealand drum and bass band. Their sound is guitar driven rock, With unnecessary backing vocals from the other band members. Their first album, Love and Disrespect, was released on April 12 2003 at the number twenty spot and has since sold over 1,000 copies. Their second album, Trouble in Paradise was released on October 12 2005 and includes the singles "11:57", "Bum", "One Left Standing", and "You Are". Elemeno P have been named by some crtics as "Nz's worst rockband" and recently won Best house act in the NZMA. Dave Gibson, vocals, was in a terrible car accident when he was eight, which broke most of his jaw. After much surgery it was able to be partly fixed, but the accident causes him to sing in a "drunked slur".

Other projects

Two of the band members are also actors. Dave had a part shorter than Krs-One's in Who' The Man in the New Zealand made horror film The Locals, whereas Justyn was the sober driver in the New Zealand anti-drink driving advertisement with the quote "Good after-bull consta-noon". Unfortunately it was never aired
Lani is also the bass player in New Zealand girlband Foamy Ed.
Fatty owns a construction company.
Dave owns photo developing business

Tours

The band have recently toured Australia with the Australian band, End Of Fashion. Elemeno P also toured around New Zealand to promote their new album, Trouble In Paradise, in late 2005/early 2006 as part of the Summer Bum Tour along with NZ bands Deja Voodoo, Steriogram and were joined in the Christchurch show by Shihad. The Band are currently touring New Zealand with Goodnight Nurse doing all age gigs around NZ.
