• OPPOSE/Keep - Notable, per General Notability Guidelines (WP:GNP), which is summarized as thus: "If a topic has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, it is presumed to be suitable for a stand-alone article or list." Captain Rivera's contributions to the Marine Corps and Puerto Rican heritage are covered as the central topic of multiple independent sources, including the LA Times, NYTimes, NY Daily News, multiple military articles of tribute, and by the US Congress. Also, according to the revision history), for nearly a decade Captain Rivera was believed to have been the first US servicemember casualty of the [corrected] air-campaign Operation Desert Storm, which began on Jan. 16/17, 1991 (based on his death on Jan. 22, 1991).     • per Wikipedia standards, your reply can be construed as "personal attack". If you wish to understand, be specific in your request for clarification. If you do not wish to understand, an impersonal posture would be indicated by refraining from comment.
