Primary sources
@SashankaChutia: Could you please look for alternative non-primary sources? Using primary sources, such as the Buranjis that you have used here, are not allowed and what you have inserted here and other places might be challenged and deleted. The relevant policy is given here: WP:RSPRIMARY. Chaipau (talk) 11:16, 9 August 2020 (UTC)
The translated work of Gopal Chandra Barua is itself a secondary source. Primary source will include original non-translated manuscripts. SashankaChutia (talk) 12:50, 9 August 2020 (UTC)
- I don't think translated works are considered secondary sources, at least in this case. Furthermore, it is immaterial whether the local ruler of Habung was a Chutia or not in the context of the office of Borpatrogohain. Chaipau (talk) 13:05, 9 August 2020 (UTC)
