Regardless of what you did or didn't say, if you're in a disagreement with someone, and you post about it on another user page, don't be surprised if that other person starts to scream "Canvassing!! Omigawd!! You're canvassing!! You cheating SOB!" ...and so on and so fourth. It's been done before. It can be used to distract from the actual content dispute, and if it ends up at ANI, and you get the wrong the admin on the wrong day, well... it's possible that the end result is the content dispute doesn't go your way, and nothing will make sense.
