It's quite simply worded. |

The reported text of the 'proclamation' of the repeal act featured on the main wiki page here looks very suspicious. It doesn't read like a Royal Proclamation, and it may be therefore that's its provenance is a much later, perhaps 19th century, fabrication. |

- looks pretty real to me, appears in print history as well as internet - note actual name of Act in rivised article - dave souza 23:05, 4 Oct 2004 (UTC)
