Stephanie Adams (born July 24, 1970 in Orange, New Jersey) is an American model, financial investor, and self-made millionaire, notable as the November 1992 Playboy Playmate, continuing to appear in Playboy.[1] Adams is also the first Playmate to become a lesbian spokesmodel[2], an advocate in the LGBT community[3], and a spirituality author.
Adams most recently announced a lawsuit against a New York city taxicab driver, the NYPD, and the city of New York after a May 25, 2006 incident.[4] Since then, the taxi driver was fined along with his taxi license revoked by the New York City Taxi & Limousine Commission,[5] the police are under investigation,[6] and the complaint was filed in state Supreme Court.[7]
