Some discussion of the exploration of the cost, including Bodega y Quadra's role, is discussed in the book ''The Log of the San Carlos and Original Documents Translated and Annotated'' by E. J. Molera (there's a Gutenberg version [http://mirrors.xmission.com/gutenberg/etext04/8marc10.txt here]). I can't honestly say I've read it yet. -- [[User:Finlay McWalter|Finlay McWalter]] | [[User talk:Finlay McWalter | Talk]] 20:30, 11 Aug 2004 (UTC) |

==Brilliant high school?== |
|||
I was surprised to find the comment referring to the "brilliant" high school and its "excellent" sports teams. Living here, I think that someone needs to get a grip on reality. Perhaps a reference to the charter school and high school would be in order, but I believe referring to the high school as brilliant (a word with little ambiguity, and NO objectivity) and its sports teams as excellent might be a little bit misleading. Perhaps a mention of the recent murder committed by a student at the school would bring some reality to this article. If there are no objections, I will revise it.
