== Savage's current activities ==

I came to this page after reading an article about the British Pop Archive at the Manchester John Ryland Library, where I learned that Savage has recently been appointed Professor of Popular Culture at the U of Manchester. I think there will be people more knowledgeable than me, able to add something about this to the WP.
