Metacritic season 1 score

The Reception section includes scores from Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic. The score from Metacritic should probably not be included here. This is because Rotten Tomatoes collected reviews of this episode specifically and their score is for the first episode. Metacritic (at least superficially) collects reviews of season 1, and their score is not supposed to be representative of episode 1.

Of the 17 reviews listed at Metacritic, some clearly state that they were given the first four episodes to preview.[1][2]
