There weren't seem to be any issues with this article prior to the edit war, so I have reverted this article to the latest April's stable version by User:Notcharizard, which includes WP:RS like Fortune (magazine)) and others, and doesn't read like an NPOV advertisement anymore. Please feel free to improve it, change it or correct it. Thank you! JohnnyCoal (talk) 12:35, 21 June 2022 (UTC)

Changes

We've been trying to make various edits to the XCOPY page, at the request of the artist, and they are being deleted. These revisions include updates to numerous factual inaccuracies, as well as spelling/grammar errors. We do not understand why these changes are being reverted, as they do not seem to go against any of the cited reasons (poorly sourced content, basic copyediting, non-neutral point of view, use of primary sources, etc.).

Examples of incorrect information include: city where artist is located, random statements without support (i.e. credited as introducing Beeple to NFTs), date of Grifters launch, sale price of Right-click and Save As guy, spelling of 'Right-click and Save As guy', sales details of MAX PAIN, spelling of MAX PAIN, and others.

Please allow us to implement these changes without deleting/reverting them. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Noone.eth (talkcontribs) 07:10, 24 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Edits are being reverted because of the mentioned reasons. The current version of the page is supported by stable WP:RS, and any fact or statement with no WP:RS is not eligible to stand on a Wiki page. Your version of the article seems to read more like an advertisement than an article. Cryptocurrency News, Journals and Twitter are generally not considered reliable sources, except in exceptional cases. Editing sale prices has little to no value due to Cryptocurrency extreme volatility, perhaps it's suggested to go with the closest USD amount at the time of the sale. And paid editing has to be disclosed. JohnnyCoal (talk) 08:57, 24 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Our edits are supported by RS, including primary sources from art platforms such as Async Art that include direct contextual quotes from the artist, as well as Etherscan transaction links for specific sales that show the exact dollar value of sales on the day of the transaction(s) as recorded on the blockchain. We also removed numerous inaccurate/unsupported statements that are included without RS. We are attempting to correct factual inaccuracies in this Wikipedia page, and are working with the artist to ensure accuracy, because we would like to see the page contain accurate information. None of this editing is 'paid editing'. We identified numerous factual inaccuracies in our prior post unsupported by RS (date of collection sales, spelling of artworks, sales figures, etc.). We do not see any valid reason to oppose/revert these changes, particularly when we are providing RS for each and proving that the information on the current version of the page is factually inaccurate. Regarding other sources as RS, given that Cryptocurrency News Articles and other sources contain accurate factual information on the matter, in contrast to the currently cited sources containing inaccurate information, we believe this constitutes an 'exceptional case.' As it stands, the current version of this page is riddled with factual inaccuracies, and we are being prevented from correcting them and making the page factually accurate. Edits are being once again reverted due to repeated usage of WP:TTD, WP:TMBS and WP:PRIMARY. Please refer to the five pillars of Wikipedia for a better understanding of editing and news eligibility. 07:05, 2 June 2022 (UTC) JohnnyCoal (talk) 07:05, 2 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Johnycoal, we have tried to make sensible and accurate changes to this wikipedia page but you continuously revert them back with inaccurate information. For this reason I have proceeded to report User Johnnycoal for edit warring via the WP Admin Noticeboard for obstructive repeated deletion of accurate and proper edits in favor of inaccurate content. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Noone.eth (talkcontribs) 10:07, 19 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Which makes no sense at all, considering Admins can clearly see you are the only one here coming up with the repeated usage of non-encyclopedic edits. Good luck 16:02, 19 June 2022 (UTC) JohnnyCoal (talk) 16:02, 19 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
What stable reliable sources is this article based on? Looks like a bunch of questionable sourcing, none of which discusses the subject in-depth Slywriter (talk) 17:36, 19 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
